Registration problem!

Hi there!
I'm writing in favour of a friend of mine who's been trying to register here for a while now, without success.... she hasn't got any mail about the registration and she can't log in. I have no idea of how to help her other than writing here to see if someone knows what the problem could be? (I've written privately to Silver Moon too but she hasn't answered yet )

My friends desired name is maria_wikstrom!

I'm sorry but I never recieved your message! If you would like to PM it to me again I will gladly read it.

Also, I would like to add that JapanSylvian is swamped with loads of spam every day. Some day I get 100 people trying to sign up that are spam. In order to weed through the spam, I made a new rule (It's a sticky in at least 3 different categories) to please put Sylvian in your interests. It could be that your friend never read the rule and left her interests blank in which she would have been deleted.

Just incase I made a mistake, I will look back over all of the spam sign-ups!

I've found and acticated Maria_Wikstrom! Welcome, Maria!

I think the reason it took me so long to activate her is because her username is similar to a lot of spammers. For example, Mark_Strobben, Victor_Smithsonian and so on...

Welcome to the forums! I apologize for the delay! I'm thinking about adding something to the registration page so that everyone who wants to sign up will see the rule. I don't want this happening too often as it has already happened a few times!

I just have to add that I totally agree, this forum is the greatest! I would like to thank all of you who keep it active and going (although this might not be the proper thread to do so but I would like to do it anyway )!

Me and Maria wondered a bit yesterday about how this forum has affected us, considering as we are quite new fans compared to alot of you other members.. we have never had the chance for example to see this truly special group live, as we were not even thought of by the time they played their last show ...

.. however, back to the subject - I believe that this forum has let us get to know the band and to really be sucked into the world of Japan!!

Hi Emmlish!

I was never able to see any of their shows either. Infact, their very last show was exactly 6 years before I was born! And I wasn't able to make it to any of the 'World is Everything' shows as he wasn't touring in the US.

Hope some day to see him live, though! We all have a good feeling he'll tour again sometime in the future!

Well, I wasn't quite old enough to go to the final shows - and I too missed out on "The World is Everyhing" tour but all hope is not lost! We shall prevail! He will tour again - sometime ...
