According to a post that came through on japan_pioneers, the band lineup will be David, Keith Lowe and Takuma Watanabe.

Thanks for posting this news. I admit ignorance of the particulars in regards to Watanabe. Am I correct that he is a pianist? I couldn't find all that much about him while searching on the net. Does anyone else have any info they would be willing to share about him?

I see what you mean Baht Habit - not a lot out there on Mr Watanabe! I guess I found, what you found. He's a pianist with some credits for keyboards and vocals too. Founder of music ensemble Combo Piano. After much searching found a link where you can hear snippets of their latest album:

He also pops up on a couple of sites for improvised music in Japan....so, are we to get some improv?

Once I got over the shock of having my natural assumption that Steve would be on tour with David completely shattered, I had to laugh. It's very ironic to me. But I have no doubt the shows will still sound fabulous in that great lo-fi fashion, don't you?

I don't know! The thought is enough to make me seriously determined to try and rein in my inner fangirl...it's just so easy to let her run rampant here with all you truly festive fellow fans! She has been having more fun here than she has had in years, actually, and I'm glad of it.
