hi..does anyone know which are the writers that david prefer or the books that he used to read? i know that it's a difficult question, but i'd like to know if there are some writers who inspired his works and lyrics..thanx to all...bye

well, the track 'Wasn't I Joe' uses a sample from a play called 'Eh Joe' by Samuel Beckett...

A novel he's often mentioned in the past is Herman Hesse's Siddhartha; other authors such as Sartre, Cocteau, Mishima. During the RTC period, he mentioned Crow: From the Life and Songs of the Crow (poetry) by Ted Hughes.

In interviews during the FIFT tour, he stated he was reading a lot of Paul Auster (and also Auster's wife, Siri Hustvedt).
