Few good interviews appearing in the dutch press the last few weeks where he (and Japan) have always been respected from the start. Even VPRO radio devoted a whole evening to Sylvian music last week ! -

Interviews - much said lately but in relation to the music/tour -

'I want to celebrate my older work one more time and then let go of it. Yes, catharsis, good. Thereafter, I shall never play it live again. Sometimes I shoot near and far. And sometimes it seems that the man who wrote Ghosts is far from me and sometimes as if I made it only yesterday.'
(n.b my translation)

Amsterdam show good, Brussels still the best overall for the feel, atmosphere, even David seemed to enjoy it!

Now that was a more positive sounding David about his past work. It is good he may be starting to view it in a more positive light.

We all enjoy his music so much from all the various periods so it is wonderful that he too can look at things as periods in his life...whether good or bad. :-)
