I've listened to the album a few times and like it a lot. It all depends on what your tastes in music are. If you enjoy Sakamoto's "1000 Knives", Holgar Czukay's solo work, Fennesz, Takagi Masukatsu, Cocorosie, Mari Boine, Sylvian's "Approaching Silence" and Audio Sponge, then you might like this. I hear connections in the sounds to those artists, so it has its place in my collection. I find it relaxing but always interesting enough to keep my attention.
The first track "Map" sounds like it could have come from the new Thom Yorke album. It has a similar rhythmic pattern that I picked up on right away, even the voice fits.
