Come on guys, help me. For over 25 years ive never understood that line in SWING !
Any ideas ???

A wonderful band performance. You can follow every instrument throughout the track. Each instrument has a wonderful melody line.
Just that bloody line, does my head in

Its a quandry Natasha and no mistake.
I mean, imagine Sylvian, turning up to Weatherspoons in Manchester, having driven up from Catford. And pronouncing to all and sundry, that the drive up was pleasurable, and would anyone in the pub like to buy an African Island or two, he had, in the boot of his car ?
Would you buy a used African Island from an effeminate futurist ?

I've always assumed it was a drugs-related euphemism, but as I know nothing whatsoever about the subject, I'm probably totally wrong.

Sounds reasonable to me.

I always thought Methods of Dance referred to mastery of every sexual position known to man, and then some.

Sylvian didnt learn to drive till he moved to america,..
drug wise he only properly got into Coke in 1982..
