New to the forum but not to Japan/Sylvian.

I've been lurking here for a while so thought I may as well sign up. I've been a Sylvian fan since before I care to remember! A friend at school tipped me off about them - well, he'd bought Obscure Alternatives and didn't really like it so his loss was my gain.
I would describe myself as being a long time Goth Rock/Prog Rock/Punk but despite this Sylvian has remained a firm favourite in my collection. I thoroughly enjoy his solo work, and even though it may not always be popular with the fans it does show how incredibly talented this wonderful man is. Whenever I listen to his music I certainly feel as though my life is a little richer for it. I'm hoping we haven't seen the last of him just yet and that he gets out there and tours some more!!

If the other forums I belong to are anything to go by I won;t be a prolific poster on here but feel free to msn (should be on my profile) or pm - I'm always happy to talk about Sylvian!!

Hi Proggrl,

Apart from a couple of Harley forums I'm also on forums for The Mission, The Sisters of Mercy, iRiver and Rockbox.
I don't visit the last two very often, only when I have a specific problem with my MP3 player.

The others are visited daily but I dont post there very often exept to keep in touch with friends I've made.
