Hello. I am writing from the seedy side of Atlantic City NJ in the US.
I had to join this site as soon as I came across it - thanks so much to the creators and moderators. I look forward to contributing as best as I can. I am anxiously awaiting Sylvian's next release and was pleased to learn a little of what to expect from a few interesting and well-informed posters. Thank you and I hope to engage in future intelligent discussion.

Does Cambridge? I mean, apart from the seediness of the university owning 90% of the land in the city and the don't-you-know-who-I-am attitude of the dons?

(Sorry, just talk amongst yourselves... just so happens that Astronaut and I grew up more or less in the same part of the world...)

Yes. It's called Arbury and you most certainly do not hang around that neighbourhood after dark, whether it's got a CB3 postcode or not!!! Not a nice place at all ... :shock:

But neither of us live in that part of the country anymore so why should we worry? :wink:

Funny... I know Arbury's rough but the year I lived there was probably the happiest one I ever had in 23 years of living in Cambridgeshire...

Like you say though... we're better off out of it!!!
