Rene Berg and the band "The Darkness"

Rene was a former bass player for Hanoi Rocks, and recorded a brilliant album called "The Leather, The Loneliness....." pick it up if you can. It's real cheap on Amazon. But, what I wanted to say in regards to the original topic, is that The Darkness ripped off Rene's song "Rob The Bank!" Listen to the Darkness " I Believe in a thing called love" and then listen to Rene's song. The riff is almost identical!

Glad you mentioned this. I loved that song when I first heard it (The Darkness song, that is) but I have not heard the other song, or the artist. I had wanted to get some of the Darkness material, but then the idea kinda fell off my radar, probably replaced by some other Adult Attention Deficit tangent---lol!!!! That always annoys me when I hear"rip-offs".
