Omigod---what a classic song--almost forgot about that one!!! Thanks for reminding me.

"Tracks of my Tears" (live cover) Big Country. Stuart sings this to perfection, takes me to another dimension, with him in it

Billy Idol- Rebel Yell (I listen to his greatest hits everyday on the way to class and it just sticks with me throughout the day, lol)

And I've been listening to more Porcupine Tree and Marillion lately. Stupid Dream and Clutching at Straws, respectively.

Billy sounds good fun right now, but PT and Marillion - can't go wrong there, especially since you've had their best albums (respectively). Must stop listening to Blackfield, but it's on shuffle so maybe something happier next. The Cure - nope not happier. :P
Trust the proggrl.

Great song. I love to hear it in the very early mornings...and then i'm moving to 'Friends Of Mine'. I'll always think their first cd was the best then their rest.

hmm i do not disagree with The Proggrrl much bit while 'Clutching'is Fish-era Marillion at their best "H-era" Brave and marles are right up there too

Stupid Dream is not in my PT album top three - surely In Absentia would be in the top spot!

other than that Billy Idol is quite my 80's guitly pleasure - and Rebel Yell, Flesh for Fantasy, White Wedding and Eyes Without a Face the soundtrack to my last years in secondary school!

Stupid Dream is not in my PT album top three - surely In Absentia would be in the top spot, for me at least!

I am currently working a list of quiz questions - our firm does an annual quiz thing every year... I try and spread the types of music questions far and wide (they leave all the music stuff to me! Yah!!)

Anyway.... "why are there so many, songs about Rainbows and what's on the other side.... someday we'll find it the Rainbow Connection, the lovers and dreamers and me..."

Right now, I want to do something nasty to Kermit!! The song won't leave my head!!
