Just popped in 'Beat' by King Crimson, so it's the first track Neal And Jack And Me popping back at me. tis somewhat appropriate with it being the 50th anniversary of the release of Kerouac's book, On The Road.

Tears For Fears - Mad World

The version in Donnie Darko is really famous and overrated nowadays, but the original is way more catchy and fun to listen to. Plus, the new one just has a piano, and the original has the whole shabang...drums, synth, bass...BUT NOOOO! I have to hear about the Darko version all the time.

Now I am listening to the song "Caught By The Fuzz" by Supergrass, featured in the movie HOT FUZZ.

Great movie. The british really do rule musically and comedy-wise. That whole UK area is flooded with talent...

Ha ha, weird- I was going to post the exact same thing. I'm in a Tears for Fears mood today. But definitely, the original blows that Michael Andrews/Gary Jules cover away. It's not a bad cover or anything, but the original is so haunting and beautiful. Hard to top that.
