I'm sitting here with my morning cup of tea (now afternoon!), going through the mp3's on my hard drive and I've come across some funny things and thought you all might be interested in some of the odd things I found...

...Currently listening to a dance cover version of Ghosts by Tenth Planet...
...Yes, can you imagine a dance version of Ghosts!

I also found:
"I can't wait" by Lil Devious, which samples Adolecent Sex (this one is hard to get through!)

A dance remix of Quiet Life, I have no idea who did this.

"Heart of Asia" by Watergate, a dance track featuring a reprise of Fobidden Colours.

A cover of Ghosts by Wendy Matthews

An extended remix of Visions of China by "Monochromatic Man" (don't know if this is a fan remix), which is actually pretty decent.

A cover of Brilliant Trees by Claire Martin, I rather like this one, there's some lovely instrumentation...

...Back to the tea and hard drive...

Claire Martin's "Take My Heart" album has that track, along with a cover of Nick Drake's "Riverman" - a couple other covers on that one too - overall it's a good album and I like her versioin of David's song.

I like the arrangement of "Ghosts" by Wendy Matthews, not crazy about the vocal though.

Have you ever heard Duncan Sheik's cover of "Orpheus?" I haven't and wonder how it sounds.

Yes indeed, it's not bad...He also does a pretty decent cover of Nick Drake's Riverman on the same "Humming Along" Ep...

No, I haven't. Looked them up just now on wikipedia - pretty cool to learn that UFO's Phil Way was in this band.

I tended to be sort of dismissive of a lot of the glam/hair bands of the 80s (not fair on my part I know) but so many of the ones that were popular and played on MTV/radio were quite bad or boring, I thought. There are a few I like but I never dug further into that style to hear what else was there. I'm more open-minded and open-eared now, lol.

Blemish (the original version) I really love the Track Blemish misically, whish I had written that piece.
I know this album is hard to get in to, but I really admire the direction he took with a lot of this, it seemed so ground breaking.
