Yuka Fujii's exhibition opened in Tokyo last week after numerous pandemic-related delays. Absolutely lovely to see the original prints of many images I've known for decades.

I was fortunate to meet Fujii-san briefly at the gallery, and one thing she mentioned I thought many here might appreciate: She said quite definitively that David is constantly working on new music, and always has been. He has not stopped producing new pieces; he has simply not been releasing new pieces. His working method of refining and improving each work is ongoing and continuous, but is just not yet at a state of completion that he considers worthy of release.
As an artist, this makes sense. One never stops. But the work has to be ready before being shared with the world.
