I can't help it, I just love them since I was a kid

I've just now really started listening to them a lot, based on a lot of recommendations. I think that track is becoming one of my favorites of theirs!

Anyway, I really like Falling Down. Nite Runner doesn't do anything for me, but Falling Down gives me hope. And Pop Trash is one of my favorite DD albums! Medazzaland, too- they're both in my DD top five.

Phil Collins- In the Air Tonight

I haven't even listened to Nite Runner yet. Now the DDM site has put up a bulletin that they do not want anyone posting links to the new songs---how about that?!?!

Listening to "inwards" Big Country

Krausy was the only person who made me feel welcome on DDM. Don't worry you are so NOT missing anything if you didn't hear Night Runner yet. LOL
I think all the dd boards are pretty mean... almost like high school cliques so if you don't fit in they trash all over you.

You got that right!!!! It has been particularly foul over there lately. Even had two gals who had dated the same fan-guy having a cat fight over there--they finally had to remove the thread altogether. People either get really antsy because you know how "Duran time" is---it takes forever for them to do some things, and the wait just gets to people, and then they start getting bored, then they start picking at everybody. Either that, or someone will post something opinionated (or, something "sad but true" about the band, etc) and everyone takes it the wrong way.
The way I handle the long wait time in between, and the opinions that I hold about certain things, is to get involved in other projects or other bands until DD makes a move, or tours, etc. That way, I don't post something or say something that is going to hurt someone's feelings. Just keep it to myself---easiest way and the way of life over there especially.

That's what I like about this site here, and the Big Country site---it doesn't get tedious, nobody's gossiping, nobody's hurting anyone's feelings. It is calm and informative and most of all friendly and fun!!!

Iron Maiden - Prowler

This album still sounds amazing. So many good memories attached to this one...

Hey Rhodesia---your sig by the way, the comment about the boys being picked last for dodgeball, that is actually pretty accurate historically. I think there is actually only one of them that was remotely interested in sports at one time (can't remember which one though)

Jungle Gym - Mayumi Itsuwa - a long time favorite Japanese female singer - she's been called the Carole King of Japan, her voice reminds me of Karen Carpenter.

"In Answer" by The Chameleons.
Very underrated band, much like Japan. :-D
(By that I mean they are both underrated, not that they are musically similar, because they most certainly aren't similar at all...)

That was Rich - he was on the football (soccer) team at school, I think the tennis team too - he was a tennis instructor for a while, still plays a mean game according to the PT website.
