Some good songs on here. Definitely one to add to the collection, and if you don't care for it at first, give it time. Enough good strong songs on here to make you think but also some to make you dance, so it is a nice mix. I believe some folks were concerned that it would be all hip hop or all dance, but not the case. Has characteristics of the traditional DD but takes a step into the now.

All in all, good job from our Wild Boys!!!

I like it, but I have to say that I love Astronaut a lot more. There's this lack of instruments in RCM that I am not comfy with.

And how did they leave Cry Baby Cry out of the album is still something I don't get! It's a lot better than many songs of the album!

Yep, there surely is a lack of at least one instrument---Roger's drums!! Most of that drumwork seems to have a "programmed" sound, I commented on this in another forum. Kinda sad to see that happening, but he is still with the band so I suppose he is okay with that.

And only one song I can tell so far that has any horns in it---poor Andy Hamilton!!

Oh course as a mere fan what do I know? After a few deep listens to these tracks I may hear things I missed first go round.

my copy ... the enhanced version of red carpet massacre was shipped out today. I listened to a couple of the song clips.... not sure what i'm going to think of this over all but i'm willing to give it a try. Hopefully, they won't disappoint me.... "I won't be disappointed" LOL

I'm not intending to purchase the RCM album, even though i'm a dd fan. The kind of music they made in their new cd, is like all the other songs in today's radio. Nothing unique in it...well maybe except of the SONG: 'Red Carpet Massacre'.
