Ah Melaszka I am totally technically unaware regarding rap, I have a tendency to like things that make me laugh or that make me think or people who have a clever way with words.

I mean my brother is always making fun of me because he thinks people I like such as Busta Rhymes and Princess Superstar are lame as rappers in terms of flow and style and stuff but nonetheless I still love them.

I have little fondness for modern hip-hop myself because it's become a lazy form of music where all the bad elements of it (the bling, the misogyny etc) are overhyped to make money...

Oh and Astronaut you hit upon a point there that I have often made to so many people. Rap music is misogynistic etc etc but so are other forms of music, like rock...

Although I always prefferred to think that Duran were making fun of their tendency to objectify women with that song and especially with the video...that was so funny.
