Trying Mick's 'Dreams of Reason' again - it's definitely a grower.

What is it about these guys' music - it just gets under your skin and stays there.

Sigur Ros - various cds, including Hoppipolla and Svefn-g-Englar. If you mix My Bloody Valentine with Cocteau Twins, you might get something like this. Very lovely and atmospheric.

Excellent! Great stuff. Although I realized I have to take () out of the car! It's almost TOO calming!

I have a friend in Finland (I'm from the States btw) and we exchange mixed cassette tapes, things we think the other person might not have heard and would enjoy. Right now The Pastels are playing, "Thank You for Being You." I wasn't familiar with them but am enjoying this.

Im listening to Scritti Politti's new album. I cant recommend it enough. Its so sweet and summery.
Also a new British Indie band called 'White Rose Movement'. They dont win any prizes for innovation, but they are very atmospheric (a cross between early Japan and Franz ferdinand). Apparently, they start some of their shows with a cover version of Burning Bridges. Their next single is going to have an unreleased track on it called.......Sylvian!!!
