To see Whistlers work up close is a real treat. I cant say this often enough: looking at reporoductions of works of art in books is great but nothing beats actually getting up close and seeing the real work of art itself. Some works do not photograph well and so when you do see the real thing, you see something totally new. Thank God for public galleries and museums!
