My daughter and I had a conversation about this some time ago and decided we liked tall guys cos they were more comforting and you felt more secure because they were bigger. I had to agree with that.

My difficulty of course, dearest proggrl, is that I am 5'6" (or 5'7" according to my most recent tryst with a tape measure, but I'm not sure I trust that one) and sometimes like to wear heels. This means that I MUST have a sweetheart who is at least 5'10" for him to always be taller than me no matter what shoes I'm wearing, and that's rather difficult sometimes.

Missouriman, I doubt that Neo would get involved in a conversation with me - surely people know how others feel about them without doing too much detective work?

Anortherncod... You should come over here to the US! Over here 5'6" is considered average, even a touch on the short side. You'd have no problem finding a man, most are over 6 foot! Anyway, I'm 5'10" - 5'11" myself and have met many girls as tall as, or taller than me.

Well, I suppose that does make it slightly more difficult. I'm 5'2 so EVERYONE is taller than me, just about! Yet somehow I tend to end up with men about a foot taller than me - 6'1 is a nice height! Deffo a fealing of being protected there.
