Thanks for giving him a chance! He's the guitarrist of my fave Spanish band. They have been very famous since the late 80's / early 90's, but in the latest years their singer left and they have a new one. Sadly it didn't go that well with the latest album they made, even if they got a Latin Grammy nomination.

He's had this Logan solo project for quite a while and tho it's something that doesn't sell much, he keeps doing it cause he just for the music. He's a huge David fan and has great taste in music Obviously i do know him, so can't say bad things of him But it's a pity cause I think that if his company (Warner) promoted him out of Spain he would get a bigger audience!

That's also called assuming that Presuntos Implicados are crap when they are not... Judge when you listen to them, ok?

I was only being nasty about the grammys. In the past decades, these and the whole breed of similar awards have been used to spread more and more glitter on shallow, worthless statues made of dung that, for no other reason than profit, have been turned into deities.
Of course, the odd worthy nominee can pop out every now and then, but that's only to make them less 'out-standing' (and try to stain them with glitter and dung).

My little joke was sarcastic, but my aim were the grammys (in fact I had underlined them) not Logan or Presuntos Implicados. Sorry if it seemed otherwise.

[Hoping to make the idea behind my joke comprehensible, I'll borrow & manipulate the title of one of Pedro Almodóvar's movies for this silly story:
Pablo, Presuntos Implicados's manager, arrives one day with a big smile on his face and tells the band:
"Hey! You've got a latin grammy nomination!!!"
And the band, in horror, cries: "¿Qué hemos hecho para merecer esto?"]

Yeah, I did. Upfront I'll tell you I'm not keen on an album's worth of covers. However, I did like Onward, Red Rain, Spirit of the Water and particularly Message in a Bottle - the latter was a pleasant surprise as I don't care for The Police/Sting at all, but Logan's treatment of the song appealed to me. I didn't care at all for Comfortably Numb or Wanderlust - sounded too similar a take on the originals, imo - if not bringing anything new to the song why bother. The rest were sort of...meh...for me. I prefer his original work, like most of that on the CD you gave me.

Last time I talked to him he said that the one he thinks he nailed was Spirit of the Water
